I’m still on a high from this past weekend! My adventure crew and I spent a total of almost 9 hours in Chicago just so we could make it to wndr – Chicago’s new experiential museum.
Although this was just a day trip, oh the fun we had. We learned, we laughed, we took photos, and we were able to check another artistic pop-up off our list.
wndr is a space where beauty and imagination meet. Each room and space is filled with wonder, illusion and beauty making you challenge your thoughts. The overall theme of wndr is science through art.
“Never say there is nothing beautiful in the world anymore. There is always something to make you wonder in the shape of a tree, the trembling of a leaf.” – Albert Schweitzer

As some of you may know, I worked The Black Women’s Expo this past weekend managing the social media. It was a fabulous experience and one of the greatest aspects of the expo was the vendor booths. Each year, hundreds if vendors including retailers, organizations and even schools set up shop to showcase their products or service.
I was introduced to so many cool products in the vendor area like Shea Moisture. Shea Moisture was a generous sponsor of the expo The Black Women’s Expo so naturally I was intrigued before I even arrived to Chicago. If you know me, you know I’m always open to try new products to so I made it a point to make sure I left with something from Shea Moisture!
The beauty brand was offering three items for $25 and I couldn’t pass that up as the products are quality and generous in size. I snagged body wash, body scrub and body lotion. It was hard however to choose a scent as they were all light and refreshing. In the end, I went with Argon oil and Raw Shea with Frankincense and Myrth Extract.
So far I have used the body wash and body lotion and am very impressed with the results. My skin is hydrated and smooth and smells great too. The scent is light but it lasts on the skin for hours. Many scented lotions fade after a while but raw Shea really seeps into the skin for long lasting results. The consistency is also light and even though it contains argan oil, it feels oil-free. For my fellow oily skin friends, this is a great lotion to both moisturize but also not add to the oil we already contain.
Raw Shea Butter:
Deeply moisturizes skin and repairs skin with vitamins and essential fatty acid.
Rich in Vitamin E. Helps boost hydration and repair dry, rough skin.
Frankincense & Myrth:
Anti-inflammatory properties help calm, heat and revitalize dull looking skin.
Have you ever used Shea Moisture products?
