Fall Fashion & Beauty Essentials

September 15, 2016

Besides the fact that the calendar reads fall is officially a week away, I turned on the heat in my car the other morning. It’s time to come to terms that summer is coming to an end we’ll be swapping out neons for earth tones for the fall season.
As I prep my closet for fall, I wanted to share some of my picks for must-have items this fall. Check them out below.
A vampy lip:
I’ve just recently become a fan of lipstick. My puckers are naturally plump, so I felt like lipstick just makes them look even bigger. But I’ve realized if I stick to the right shades for my skin tone (deep pinks and muted reds), I’ll look all right! For the fall, I’ve picked up some Stilla long-lasting matte lip color, thanks to the recommendation of my friend Jen. I am quite excited to pair these colors with some fun fall fashion.
Chokers and Aviators:
The 90s brought the best and the worst of fashion and the 90s are back full force in fashion trends. Do you remember chokers and tattoo necklaces? Oh my gosh, I was obsessed in middle school! So naturally, I am excited this trend is acceptable, yet a lot more fashionable this time around. Choker necklaces can put a little unique twist on an outfit without doing much. Then there are aviators. Sunnies aren’t just for the summertime. You’ll need to protect your peepers in fall and winter, too. That’s why I recommend fashionable aviators for the fall season. I snabbed some of my favorite aviators from for less than $4. Of course you can spring for the real deal – Ray Ban has the best. But if you’re looking for style on a budget, check out Jane and of course
Exposed Shoulder Tops:
This summer was all about off the shoulder dresses and shirts, but the fall takes a slightly different turn by keeping warmth in mind but still allowing for the shoulder to be exposed. For me, I think some of the bests parts of a woman’s body are her shoulders and clavicles. This modestly sexy fashion trend lets ladies showcase these assets simply. And the best part is this shirt can be dressed up or down.
I love a good pair of Converse and I champion for them any chance I get. Besides a pair of Chucks, every lady needs a good pair of  sneakers. My pick: Adidas. This trend has carried over from the summer putting an athletic and causal feel on your best outfits. Perfect for a chill workplace, or weekend errands, you can slip into your sneakers with a skirt, dress, or slim fit jeans.
Trench Coats and Bomber Jackets:
These two types of pieces have become timeless wardrobe essentials that every girl needs in her closet for chilly days.
Happy Fall, friends! Stay fab.
