Popular Polish for Fall 2013

Hello F.A.Bulous people! I don’t know where you are in the world but the weather forecast for my area this week is calling for sandals, sunnies and tank tops. But meanwhile, many of us are stocking up on fall-appropriate goodies to prepare for when the crisp, cool weather finally does hit.

So with that, here are the top nail polish colors for fall 2013 that you should to add to your nail polish collection for the coming season.

Oxblood

Emerald

Metallic

Glitter

Honorable mentions: Poppy (Honeysuckle), Midnight Blue, Purple (Dark Lavander)

Oxblood and midnight blue were big hits last year and they are coming back from more. Emerald is the color of the year for 2013 so it’s no wonder this will be a popular polish color for the season. My favorite polish choices this season though, are metallic and glitter. These nail polish shades will offer a funky, futuristic look for your nails this fall.

Here’s a quick nail polish tip for those who would rather stick to darker nail polish colors:

“Dark pigments can sometimes make your hands look a little unladylike if your nails are super short.” Instead, Chanel manicurist Ashlie Johnson suggests using darker nail polish colors for nails that are slightly longer and more of an almond or oval shape. “This will help elongate your fingers.” But don’t fret. Try taking Biotin pills to help your nails grow, or use any of these products to help strengthen your nails.
