What's Your Summer Wardrobe Looking Like?

Summer is officially here, and there’s no better time of the year to start thinking about fashion and how you can show off your body using it. So many people are suffering with body confidence right now, and it can be hard to find clothes that you think you look good in, even if you do. It’s like the mirror gives us a different image back to what others are seeing, and it’s half the reason why our wardrobe ends up spilled out on the floor. So we’re going to try and explore what your summer wardrobe might look like at the minute, and some of the best additions that we think you should be adding to it. We want to get you loving your body, feeling confident, and enjoying the weather with your beautiful wardrobe. So keep on reading if you’re looking for some inspiration.

A Bit Outdated & Overcrowded
So the first thing that you’ve most likely thought about when thinking about your wardrobe is that it’s a bit outdated and overcrowded. This is a common feeling for so many people to have, because half of the time all you have is last year’s wardrobe to go on, and that could be huge. So if your wardrobe is bulging, but you always feel like you have nothing to wear, then now is the time to sort it. Have a good clear out of all of the things it contains, and see what you can do with them. You might find some hidden gems that you haven’t seen in a long time, and you might realize that half of the things are ready to be sent to a charity shop for better use. Once you’ve had the clear out, it might be time to think about adding some cute summer additions.
Needing Some Cute Additions
Summer for us is all about being cute and free. You don’t want to wear anything that’s too figure hugging without having some breathing room, because you’re just asking for a sweaty nightmare. So think about tunics, they’re so freeing and summery, and would go well with a nice pair of sandals. You can get a womens plus size tunic from the internet, and you’ll probably find you’ll save a lot of money compared to if you were going to shop in store. Maxi dresses are also a good option if you want to look a bit more than just casual, but still want to keep yourself comfortable. Simple denim shorts and vest tops should also be stocked up, just for those days where you don’t want to make any effort at all!
Completing The Outfits
To complete the outfit, it’s all about the shoes for us, and it has to be either sandals or trainers. You want to feel that extra bit of comfort, and anything heeled just isn’t going to do that. So find yourself a pair of each, maybe even two if your bank will allow, and alternate between. Trainers and sandals can go with pretty much any outfit!
