Hi! Thanks for stopping by! If you love good food and a fabulous atmosphere, definitely keep reading.
Do you ever go out of town and find a gem of a place? A place so good you make it a point to visit every time you’re there? Well, that place for me is Hampton Social. I discovered it about 4 years ago when a friend used to live in Chicago. We made a reservation on a whim because she had heard good things about it. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and service and were quickly anxious to be seated with our menus.

Looking around, there were tons of girls our age who wanted to take photos of their food and selfies in the mood lighting. That’s not why we were there but we quickly turned into “those girls”. After we were seated we looked up to find the famous Rosé All Day grass wall. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that rosé has become a staple in pop culture – the drink of choice by of age millennials. To be honest, I hate rosé. It gives me a massive headache but it’s distinct color makes for pretty pictures.

So we take a look at the what seemed to be delicious menu and debated what each of us should order. “Ok, you order the pasta and I’ll try the lobster roll and we’ll get a bottle of wine to share!” We had it all figured out and stared at every plate that came by. Finally our food arrives and just as we had hoped, the food tasted as good as the atmosphere.

Hampton Social is inspired by The Hamptons. It has a preppy, beachy vibe with seafood options at the forefront of the menu. One side of the restaurant has you feeling like you’ve stepped onto a boat where you’ll sail out in style while the other side serves great lighting and photo ops. Hampton Social also has live music from local artists. Talented guys who’s voices resemble John Meyer or Ed Sheeren, making for great background music to sip your Rosé or specialty cocktail to. And you’ll enjoy a great brunch or dinner here.

Hampton Social has multiple locations in the Illinois area and I’m hoping that one day they branch out and grace us with a location in Michigan. Wishful thinking, I know, but a girl can only dream about a market fresh lobster roll in great lighting with live music so much!
