Hair Bow How-To

April 19, 2013

You’ve seen 9 million hair bow tutorials on Pinterest but have you ever really tried it? I highly recommend trying a hair bow! Especially for rainy days or days you just don’t feel like pulling out the flat iron or curling iron. Hair is a lot of work but hair bows are easy to create but still look like you put a lot of effort into your hair for the day. So….why not try it? Here’s the easiest way I know how to create a hair bow.
All you need is a hair tie, bobby pins and hair spray.
Start by putting your hair in a half pony/half bun.
Hair bow bun
Take the “tail” of the pony bun and pin it to the back of your head.

The “tail” will create the look of the middle of the bow. Take both sides and use bobby pins to pin hair in the form of the sides of a bow. Layered haircuts and fly-aways can be tricky but you can just continue to bobby pin any remaining hairs or hair spray them down.

This look is super easy to achieve and can be done on any hair type!
