Shrimp for Dinner
I have been on a shrimp kick for the past few weeks and wanted to share a quick and tasty recipe I recently tried!
Sometimes life happens, and you forget you need to eat. Does that ever happen to anyone else, or is that just me? Anyway, this recipe I am sharing was easy to make and was perfect with the few ingredients I had left before grocery day – making it quick to whip up on days you may forget to eat.
Honey Garlic Shrimp Dish

Ingredients:
- Shrimp
- Honey
- Garlic (I don’t actually like garlic cloves, so I used garlic powder)
- Broccoli
- Parsley
- Rice

How to Make Honey Garlic Shrimp
**If you’ve read any of my other food posts, you know I’m not one who really measures. Put as much of an ingredient as you want to make it to your liking!**
To start, add honey, garlic, parsley, and butter to bowl. Stir until mixed to your liking. Add shrimp to bowl, toss to coat in mixture.
Grill coated shrimp to your liking while cooking rice to perfection. I only cook with wheat rice, but white rice will work as well.
Once shrimp and rice are cooked, mix together with broccoli, and top with the remainder of the honey, garlic, parsley, butter mixture.
Plate and enjoy!
If you like this recipe it goes very well with Mediterranean salads like this recipe which you can pack for a quick and easy lunch, but it is a filling dish all by itself. Get creative with the dish and see for yourself how zingy, wholesome and comforting this dish is, whatever the weather.
